We are looking for a developer ready to implement our SaaS, involved in the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment and monitoring.

You will be in charge of producing scalable software solutions. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team and play a key role.

You are curious by nature, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries.

You should also be a team player with a knack for automation.

Full Stack Developer Duties & Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Developer at CORE For Tech your duties will be diverse building a comprehensive Saas product. Your role generally perform the following tasks with some regularity:

  • Participate in the design and creation of scalable software
  • Work with development teams and product owners to refine user stories and software specifications
  • Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
  • Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
  • Writing clean, functional code on the front- and back-end
  • Write effective APIs
  • Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency (TDD a plus)
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
  • Create security and data protection settings
  • Write technical documentation
  • Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software
  • Help reproduce and root cause problems
  • You don’t reinvent the wheel, you look for and integrate existing solutions
  • Constantly look for improvement in solving technical problems and designing the solutions, not afraid to discuss resolutions with passion
  • Implementing agile software engineering practices for higher code quality

Education: This role requires at least a master's degree in software design, engineering, or computer science.

Experience: We are looking for at least 3 years experience as a Full stack Developer role in a similar DevOps, MLOps context (mobile and web applications, back office with machine learning).

Ability to show a clear understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and processes, knowledge of SQL and various development languages (php, python, javascript), working experience in software development, infrastructure (AWS), automation (Terraform, CI/CD) and latest development frameworks (django, symphony, react native) and associated test tools.

Experience with IoT devices and embedded software is a plus.

Problem solving : You thrive at bringing solutions to problems, you are attentive to detail.

Communication skills: Clear and accurate written and verbal communication is a must, but a Lead engineer must also have more than a little tact. Your job will be to elevate the rest of the team to your level by constantly openly sharing your wide and deep expertise in software development.

Ability to work as part of a team: You might not be the only full stack software developer at your company, and you'll certainly be working with other programmers and members of other departments. You must understand and appreciate their goals and objectives and, in some cases, explain problems and necessary solutions.

Time management skills: Part of working on a team means working within other people’s timelines and finishing your work within reasonable deadlines. You won’t know when a problem might arise, so keeping on schedule can require strong time management skills.

Location: This is a remote position. The work can be done from anywhere within Paris time + or - 1 hour timezone. Quick access to high speed train transportation to Lille preferred, for regular team meetings in Lille (every 6 weeks or so).
